President
With more than three decades dedicated to nursing, Michelle has honed her expertise in family medicine, palliative care, women's health, and community nursing. In 2013, she established Hospall Private Homecare, extending her commitment to providing compassionate support. Beyond her professional endeavors, Michelle generously volunteers at the King City Food Bank and The Lions Club, while also actively participating in various healthcare associations. Since 2021, she has played a pivotal role on the Executive Board of the King Chamber of Commerce and was voted into the Presidents role in 2023.

Gus Kokkoros
Vice President
Gus, voted onto the Executive Board of Directors on March 1, 2023, brings extensive leadership experience and fresh ideas to the King Chamber. He also serves as a key figure at IPG Renewables, a renowned developer and independent power producer of renewable energy. Since 2005, IPG has executed over 300 solar & battery storage projects in Canada and Europe, specializing in design, development, construction, and ongoing maintenance of renewable energy installations.

Theresa Sherwood
Treasurer
Theresa Sherwood curates Sherwood Farm Retreat, her childhood farm in King Township. Originally a thoroughbred race farm, it spans 70 picturesque acres, featuring a rustic hayloft, Georgian home, and scenic grounds, perfect for various gatherings. The retreat concept emerged from hosting family business group retreats in the 90s. Since 2016, it has transformed into a serene private event venue and wellness retreat, focused on yoga, art, health, and wellness.

Secretary
Savita Despot is a committed King Township resident who brings over 18 years of experience from TD Bank Group, managing crucial regulatory consulting and negotiating significant contracts. She co-founded The Blue Marble Academy, emphasizing tutoring and ESG consulting. As a member of the King Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Savita aims to strengthen local businesses and promote educational initiatives, with a special emphasis on nurturing future leaders.

Ryan and his family have lived in King since 2010. He is the owner of SURGE Activewear, which produces custom running gear for all walks of life – from your local track club to nationally recognized marathons & internationally competitive teams. SURGE focuses on performance – with designed lightweight fabrics, engineered details, & custom digital sublimation prints resulting in unique looking team wear that will get you noticed on & off the track.

Angelo Santorelli, a long-time resident of King Township, is the President of Trisan Construction in Schomberg. His company, honored with the Excellence in Large Business award by the King Chamber of Commerce in 2017, contributes to the local community and provides opportunities in the construction industry. Angelo's involvement extends to serving on the Township’s Sustainability Advisory Committee and the Toronto Area Road Builders Association board.
